house rules

1. This is not a hostel but a privately run share accommodation. Please  take  turns to water the garden everyday and clean the house at least once a week, to keep the place nice and cozy for everyone. 

2. Please save water and electricity. 

3. Please do not use things that belong to other housemates. Each should have her/ his own cabinet section in the kitchen and in the fridge. We share the house and friendship, not the food or personal belongings unless you have mutual agreements. 

4. The kitchen, the bathroom, the laundry, living room area are for everybody. Please do consider other housemates. There is only one toilet, one kitchen. If you had to use it for a extended amount of time, it would be nice to let others know. ( " I will take a bath. Do you need to go to the toilet?")

5. You are welcome to use the living room for bible studies and Christian gatherings as long as you have the agreements  with other housemates. 

6. If you have a friend or family staying over, we can offer you a bed in the  front room  as long as it is just for one night, with the agreements of other housemates. If it exceeds that, $30/night will apply with the agreement of the owner and the housemates. 

7. We don't allow any illegal substance use in the house. We want to keep safe environments for all tenants. 

8. Please be open and discuss any problems with each other and with us(the owner). 

9. Since the owner is overseas, we would appreciate it if you could help us find a new tenant when one of you is leaving the house.
